Check what you have
Record the cabinet material, existing finish, damage and hardware. Ask the refinisher to assess adhesion and suitability before selecting a system. Not every damaged cabinet is a good candidate for repainting.
Plan the kitchen downtime
Confirm which parts leave the site, how openings and appliances will be protected and which parts of the kitchen remain usable. Keep pets and household traffic away from the work zone.
Treat curing as part of the job
Follow the chosen product’s instructions for handling, cleaning and return to service. Ask for written care guidance and keep the colour and coating details for future touch-ups.
